Towards Quantum Machine Learning

Abstract

Quantum Machine Learning is a field that is expected to surpass the current performance and ubiquity of classical Machine Learning when quantum devices are improved in terms of number of qubits and noise. In this talk we illustrate the basic idea of Variational Quantum Circuits and present a short tutorial for the Variational Quantum Eigensolver using the Qibo framework.
